About
JUST SEW JANE
My grandma Sally taught me how to sew when I was a young girl in 4H. These basic sewing skills have served me well. While my husband and I were in the Air Force we had to establish a new home every few years as we moved around the world. During the Gulf War of 1990 my sewing skills reached a new level as the Air Transportable Hospital (ATH), which was a fancy tent, needed repairs. I have taught my four children (Hannah, Emily, Danny, & Dot) and their friends to sew. My experience in sewing extends beyond sewing for the home to include designing and creating school play costumes and college game day dresses. My husbands mother “Tutu” taught my daughters Hannah and Emily how to quilt and Emily taught me the love of quilting.
